Trivium Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Eh...
"I adore his albums and play a few of his songs. He was a surprise performer at the Grand Ole Opry when I was there in April 2026, the first time I'd seen him. He played mostly solo with a little backup from the Opry band. Totally blew me away! I love Trivium! He is a world-class guitar player, songwriter, performer, and oh so easy on the eyes!
So little separation between instrumental parts. I was truly disappointed by the tracks playing banjo and whatever else was in the mix that wasn't live. Trivium doesn't need that! When I go to a concert, I expect to hear it all live. It wasn't a bad performance, just substandard sound. I was disappointed, though, by the sound quality in the venue. It was mushy.
Sorry to be sour on this. I'm not sorry I went to the concert, but I hope Trivium plays somewhere else next time he's in the area. So I was really looking forward to his concert at Jiffy Lube Live on July 30th. I still love his recordings, and I love his apparently pure heart and his love for playing AND for his fans."
